A corrupt computer registry will cause all kinds of problems if it is not cleaned out. Yes, I have see registry scanned for errors and have seen hundreds found and the computer would still be operating full speed ahead! The problem is this computer is a time bomb just waiting to lock up and maybe even require reformat to get it going again!
Other times I've seen just a couple of incidents of registry corruption make the computer very sow. In this case, it is actually better that the computer requires attention before the problem works its way into a major one!
Then there is the people who tell me registry cleaner aren't necessary. Boy! Can I tell them a story or two. But I won't. What I will do is give you like that old TV police detective used to say, "Just the facts."
Here is my case for the fact registry corruption is real and registry cleaners are really necessary!
Registry Corruption is a Fact of Computer Life
It is true there are some registry cleaners available that are not very good, but usually these are free cleaners and like with anything else, you get what you pay for. Still, cleaning a computer's registry with the right registry cleaner can get a computer that is slow and crashing on occasion back up and running at 100% speed and error free once again.
I seen more cases than I can count where a computer started to crash frequently or become very slow and when this happened it was caused by corruption in the registry. When this happens, there is no other viable plan of action other than to use a registry cleaner so this computer will once again operate normally.
You Can't Leave Corruption In the Registry and Expect Good Performance
It wasn't long ago registry corruption went on behind the scene and was hardly noticed. Enter Windows XP and Vista. These operating systems are much larger than their predecessors and because of this, corruption disrupts their operations and in turn causes them to be more difficult to keep running at top speed.
Without cleaning corruption out of a PC, it will become slower and slower. In time, it will commit errors and eventually the "blue screen of death becomes inevitable!
Registry Cleaners Are a Good Thing
I don't know what these people who think registry cleaners are useless do when their computers slow down and spyware or viruses are not the problem. In my experience, when this situation occurs, it is always registry corruption causing the problem. I personally don't know how I'd get along without a registry cleaner.
So when a computer is not performing properly and it is shown to be free of viruses and spyware, the next thing you should do is scan the registry. Many times I have seen cases where a computer is operating very poorly and there are no incidents of spyware or viruses and turns it out the registry is full of corruption.
If you are sure your computer has no problems with spyware/viruses and the registry is free of corruption, you probably have a bigger problem. Still, I have gotten many a computer back off the mat and working to its full potential again just by scanning for viruses/spyware and then cleaning the registry.
